The General Assembly is the supreme institution of COPORWA. It is composed of all members of the association and has all the power. In particularly the General Assembly  has the attributions to:

  • Define the program of action
  • Elect COPORWA’s legal representative and his or her deputies
  • Set the amount of the members’ contribution
  • Approve the reports of activities and the financial report of COPORWA
  • Modify COPORWA’s statutes
  • Approve the regulations of interior order and possible modifications
  • Accept new members and to decide the exclusion of members
  • Decide about partnerships between COPORWA and other local or foreign organizations
  • Take steps in the case of violation of the present regulations concerning the interior order
  • Decide about all other issues of general interest which could contribute to the promotion of the association
  • Decide about the dissolution of the association

The General Assembly gathers in an annual order and in extraordinary sittings if necessary.  It validly can gather if 2/3 of al members are present.

The Board of Directors is composed of 3 to 17 persons who are elected by the General Assembly amongst its members for a mandate of 3 years that can be renewed one time. It has a bureau composed by one president, his or her deputy and a treasurer. The Attributions of the Legal Representative and of the Board of Directors are to:

  • Represent the organization to public and private authorities
  • Approve the planning of the activities
  • Do Fundraising and to look for other support for COPORWA
  • Authorize official  missions to abroad
  • Recruit the members of the committee of management
  • Examine and approve the reports and programs of the committee of management
  • Prepare the sessions of the General Assembly
  • Submit budgets and action plans to the General Assembly for approbation

The Supervisory Board is composed of 3 persons who are elected by the General Assembly amongst its members for a mandate of 1 year that can be renewed one time. It gathers every trimester and reports to the General Assembly and informs the Board of Directors. The Supervisory Board controls the administrative management of COPORWA.
